Today is the highlight of this year's Hajj: the Day of Arafat. On this day, three million pilgrims in simple clothing stand on and around Mount Arafat, near Makkah, praying and seeking forgiveness from God. Those who have experienced the standing at Arafat describe a scene filled with emotion, a reminder of how we will all stand equal before God on the Day of Judgment. For those who cannot attend the Hajj, the day is spent fasting.
