Ruling on making a robot

Those who used to make pictures will be asked by Allah to put a soul in their creation, and they will eventually be punished very severely, my question is concerning robotics. What are the limitations we should observe in making a robot for example, having various capacities, but not necessarily human shaped(artificial intelligence, camera vision, sensors for touch, etc).

Praise be to Allaah.

Making a robot comes under the ruling on image-making. To sum
up, if the machine is made in the shape of a man or an animate being, that
is forbidden, and comes under the stern warning that is issued to those who
make images and try to imitate the creation of Allaah. It will be said to
them on the Day of Resurrection: “Give life to that which you have created.”
It also comes under the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him): “Those who will be most severely punished on the Day of
Resurrection will be the image-makers.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, no. 5606;
Muslim, 2109.

But if the machine is not in the form of an animate being or
is incomplete and would not be taken as a human being or animate creature,
there is nothing wrong with that.

It should be noted that no matter how far man advances in the
field of technology, he will never be able to make anything that is anywhere
near the creation of Allaah. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“So Blessed is Allaah, the Best of creators”

[al-Mu’minoon 23:14]

Now days we as Muslims have to spread the voice to learn quran and so we could gain the true knowledge and the quran teaching that is give to us by our beloved prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and do quran reading. Do we as Muslim ask our self that why we are at the peak of destruction? The answer will be simple that we have left our roots the holy quran we should guide promote Islam from in our homes first and let learn our kids quran  and encourage them in doing quran memorization this should be our first goal for it we can do different stuff like let then participate in different online quran recitation competition to let them listen quran from different online quran reciters and along with it we elders should learn quran also and improve our knowledge of quran and Islam and learn holy quran tafseer because to understand and learn quran Arabic and for this now a days there are many online quran tutor available who teach tajweed quran and its translation and tafseer so let us join our hands to be the voice of Islam and let improve the image of it as well and full fill our duty .

What is the ruling on taking pictures surreptitiously and transmitting them?

What is the ruling on taking pictures surreptitiously, especially pictures of women, and transmitting them via mobile phones or via the internet, and the poor women do not know about that?.

Praise be to Allaah.

Doing this is undoubtedly haraam, and it involves several
things that are forbidden according to sharee’ah, including the following:

1 – Transgressing the limits set by Allaah. Allaah says
(interpretation of the meaning):

“And whosoever
transgresses the set limits of Allaah, then indeed he has wronged himself”

[al-Talaaq 65:1]

2 – Looking at ‘awrahs which it is forbidden to look at. The
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do not
follow one glance with another, for the first is allowable but not the
second.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi; classed as hasan by al-Albaani in
Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.

3 – Transgressing
against the sanctity of another Muslim. The Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Every Muslim is sacred to his fellow
Muslim – his blood, his wealth and his honour.”

4 – If the one who takes the picture took it for a reason and
is one who is allowed to see her ‘awrah, such as a female doctor or a
friend, etc, then her taking and transmitting her picture is a betrayal of
trust, and there are many well-known texts which condemn betrayal. The
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The one who
is not trustworthy is not a believer, and the one who does not keep his
promises is not religiously-committed.” Narrated by Ahmad and classed as
saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 7179.

5 – This action causes harm and annoyance to believing women,
and Allaah has issued a warning to those who harm and annoy believing men
and women for no offence on their part, as He says (interpretation of the
meaning):

“And those who annoy
believing men and women undeservedly, they bear (on themselves) the crime of
slander and plain sin”

[al-Ahzaab 33:58]

The words translated here as “undeservedly” mean: without
them having committed a crime for which they deserve to be annoyed, i.e.,
punished. The phrase “they bear (on themselves) the crime of slander”
means, for annoying them for no reason; “plain sin” refers to their
aggression against them and their transgression of the sacred command of
Allaah.

See Tafseer al-Sa’di, p. 1120

The crime is more serious if that involves annoying or
harming a neighbour.

Muslim (64) narrated
from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of
Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “No one from
whose harm his neighbour is not safe will enter Paradise.”

“Harm” here means wrongdoing, deceit and annoyance.

6 – This is similar to the action of the hypocrites who used
to harrass the believing women. Allaah issued a stern warning to them when
He said (interpretation of the meaning):

“If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease
(evil desire for illegal sex), and those who spread false news among the
people in Al‑Madeenah stop not, We shall certainly let you overpower them,
then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbours but a little
while.

61. Accursed, they shall
be seized wherever found, and killed with a (terrible) slaughter”

[al-Ahzaab 33:60-61]

“We shall certainly let you overpower them” means: We
will command you to punish them and fight them, and We will give you power
over them.

The verse does not
mention the action that they are supposed to stop doing, rather it includes
every evil action that occurred to them, such as insulting Islam and its
followers, spreading false rumours about the Muslims, seeking to sow discord
among them, accusing the believing women of bad and immoral actions, and
other sins committed by such people.

See Tafseer al-Sa’di, p. 1121

7 – It goes against the Islamic command to seek permission
before entering people’s houses. Allaah says (interpretation of the
meaning):

“O you who believe! Enter not houses other than your own,
until you have asked permission and greeted those in them; that is better
for you, in order that you may remember.

28. And if you find no one therein, still, enter not until
permission has been given. And if you are asked to go back, go back, for it
is purer for you. And Allaah is All‑Knower of what you do”

[al-Noor 24:27]

Imam al-Bukhaari (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:

“Chapter: Seeking permission to enter has been ordained
because of the gaze”

al-Haafiz said:

i.e., it was prescribed because of that, because if a person
enters without permission he may see something that the person whose house
it is does not want him to see. A clear example of that appears in the
report narrated by al-Bukhaari in al-Adab al-Mufrad, and by Abu
Dawood and al-Tirmidhi, and classed as hasan by the latter, from Thawbaan
and attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him): “It is not permissible for a Muslim to look inside a house until he
has asked permission; once he has done that, he has entered.” Classed as
saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Adab al-Mufrad.  So once he has
been given permission, then it is as if he has already entered, i.e., he
comes under the same ruling as someone who is already inside the house.

Moreover al-Bukhaari (6241) and Muslim narrated that Sahl ibn
Sa’d (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “A man looked through a hole at
the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and the
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had a stick with
which he was scratching his head. He said: “If I had known that you were
watching, I would have stabbed you in the eye with it. Seeking permission
has been ordained because of the gaze.”

Al-Nawawi said: “A stick [midra] with which he was scratching
his head”: a midra is a piece of iron that is used to tidy the hair of the
head. And it was said that it is like a comb.

“Permission has been ordained because of the gaze” – what
this means is that seeking permission is prescribed and enjoined in
sharee’ah, and it has been ordained lest the gaze fall upon something
haraam. So it is not permissible for anyone to look through a door or
anything else through which his gaze may fall upon a non-mahram women. And
Allaah knows best.

Al-Bukhaari (6242) and Muslim narrated from Anas ibn Maalik
that a man peeped into one of the apartments of the Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings
of Allaah be upon him) stood up with an arrowhead and it is as if I can see
him now, trying to poke him (whilst the man was not aware).

This hadeeth indicates that it is permissible to punish the
one who looks into a house without the permission of the owner by throwing
something at him, even if it puts out his eye.

Muslim (2158) narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet
(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever looks into a
house without the people’s permission, it is permissible for them to put out
his eye.”

Al-Nawawi said:

With regard to the words of the Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him):  “Whoever looks into a house without the
people’s permission, it is permissible for them to put out his eye,” the
scholars said that this is to be understood as referring to a case where
someone  looks into a man’s house and he throws a stone at him and it puts
out his eye. Is it permissible to throw something without warning him? There
are two points of view among our companions, the more correct of which is
that it is permissible, because of the apparent meaning of this hadeeth. And
Allaah knows best.

8 – This action causes corruption in society and spreads
immorality and evil. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Verily, those who like
that (the crime of) illegal sexual intercourse should be propagated among
those who believe, they will have a painful torment in this world and in the
Hereafter. And Allaah knows and you know not”

[al-Noor 24:19]

If this stern warning is addressed to one who likes in his
heart that immorality should spread and prevail, then how about one who
actually causes it to spread? Undoubtedly his punishment will be more severe
and his sin will be greater.

9 – Keeping the picture is persisting in sin and
transgressing the sacred limits set by Allaah, and it keeps the one who does
it further away from repentance. Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with
him) said: “There is no minor sin if one persists in it (i.e., it becomes a
major sin).”

10 – Transmitting the picture further compounds the sin of
the one who committed it, and takes him further away from the mercy and
forgiveness of Allaah. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be
upon him) said: “All of my ummah will be forgiven except those who commit
sin openly. It is part of committing sin openly if a man does something at
night and Allaah conceals him, but in the morning he says, ‘O So and so, I
did such and such last night.’ His Lord had concealed him all night long,
but in the morning he disclosed what Allaah had concealed.” Agreed upon.

We ask Allaah to set the affairs of the Muslims straight.

It is haraam for a man to wear natural silk or to sit or sleep on it

If my wife wants to buy a silk cover for the bed, is that allowed for me to sleep in that bed ?

Praise be to Allaah.

Just as it is not permissible for a man to wear natural
silk, it is also not permissible for him to sit or sleep on it or to cover
himself in it (like a blanket), because of the report narrated by
al-Bukhaari (5837) from Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) who
said: The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade us to
wear silk and brocade and to sit on them.

Al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

The words “and to sit on them” are strong proof for those who
say that it is not allowed to sit on silk, which is the view of the
majority. Ibn Wahb narrated in his Jaami‘ from the hadeeth of Sa‘d
ibn Abi Waqqaas that he said: To sit on a live coal is dearer to me than
sitting on a seat of silk. End quote.

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

Even if we did not have this text, the prohibition on wearing
it would still include using it in furnishings, as it also includes using it
as covers or blankets, as the word libs (lit. wearing) includes these
meanings in both the linguistic and shar‘i sense; Anas said: I went to a
reed mat of ours that had turned black from long use (lit. wearing).
Narrated by al-Bukhaari (380) and Muslim (658). Even if the general wording
did not imply that the prohibition included using it in furnishings, mere
analogy would imply that it was forbidden. End quote.

I‘laam al-Muwaqqi‘een, 2/366

Al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said in al-Majmoo‘,
4/321:

It is haraam for a man to use brocade and silk in clothing,
or for sitting or reclining on, or covering himself with it (like a
blanket), or as a curtain or screen, or any other way of using it. There is
no difference of scholarly opinion concerning any of these things except one
odd view which was narrated by al-Raafi‘i, who said that it is permissible
for them to sit on it. But this view is invalid and is clearly mistaken and
is contrary to this saheeh hadeeth. This is our view. As for wearing it,
there is consensus (that it is forbidden); with regard to other uses, Abu
Haneefah permitted it but Maalik, Ahmad, Muhammad, Dawood and others agreed
with us that it is forbidden. Our evidence for that is the hadeeth of
Hudhayfah. Perhaps the reason for the prohibition on wearing it is to be
found in the other ways of using it, because if it is forbidden to wear it
when there is a need for it, then it is more likely to be forbidden in other
cases. End quote.

It says in al-Mawsoo‘ah al-Fiqhiyyah, 5/278:

The fuqaha’ are unanimously agreed that it is permissible for
women to use silk furnishings, but in the case of men, the majority of
Maalikis, Shaafa‘is and Hanbalis are of the view that it is forbidden. End
quote.

Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan was asked: What is the ruling on
using blankets, covers or furnishings made of silk? He replied: It is not
permissible for them to use covers and furnishings made of silk, because
Allah forbade it to men. End quote.

Al-Muntaqa min Fataawa al-Fawzaan,
7/95.

It should be pointed out that what is forbidden is natural
silk, not artificial silk. For more information please see the answer to
question no. 30812.

Based on that, if this cover is made of natural silk, it is
not permissible for you to sit or sleep on it.

And Allah knows best.

Following note from Muslim Quran online Blog

The first lesson to be learned by all Muslims is the importance of the Reading Quran Online. All Muslim should learn holy Quran online  is the Book of Allah All mighty. He wants to wear the Arabic thawb in a non-Muslim country

my question is concerning the permissibility of wearing a thawb in public every day in a Western country (Canada). Does wearing a thawb in such circumstances come under the heading of libaas ush-shuhrah? The thawb is something that is foreign to the non-muslims here, but I myself personally love the thawb more than the western clothes like pants and jeans and the likes. Not only that, but I also like the fact that it covers the 'awrah more properly than these western clothes. So would there be any sin of arrogance on me if I were to wear a thawb every day to school in a country where it's considered to strange or foreign to wear such clothes? Is this the same thing as wearing garments of fame and vanity?

I've read the other fatwas concerning this matter but I couldn't find anything related to the permissibility of wearing a thawb in situations like this.

Praise be to Allaah.

What is prescribed is for the Muslim to wear the customary
clothing of the people of the country in which he is living, so that he
will not stand out among them in ways that may harm him or attract
backbiting about him, so long as that clothing does not include anything
that is contrary to sharee‘ah.

For more information please see the answer to questions no.
104257,
108255 and
132433.

So long as the Arabic thawb is regarded as foreign or strange
in a country and is not acceptable, it is better for you to wear what is
customary for the people in your country, whilst making sure that the pants
are loose and do not show the shape of the ‘awrah.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him)
said:

If a Muslim is in a non-Muslim land that is hostile towards
the Muslims, or a non-Muslim land that is not hostile, he is not enjoined to
differ from them in his outward appearance, because of the harmful
consequences that may result from that.

Rather it may be mustahabb or obligatory for a man to be
similar to them in his outward appearance sometimes, if there is a religious
interest to be served by that, such as calling them to Islam and other good
aims.

But in Muslim lands where Allah has caused His religion to
prevail and has caused the disbelievers to come under Muslim rule and pay
the jizyah, it is prescribed to be different from (the disbelievers in
appearance).

End quote from Iqtida’ al-Siraat al-Mustaqeem,
1/471-472.

And Allah knows best.

Following note from Learning Quran online Blog

Learn holy Quran online which it self states in it that only those who are learn quran and pure should touch the holy text: This is indeed a Quran in Arabic in a book well-guarded, which none shall touch but those who are clean (56:77-79).  One should make formal ablutions before handling or Quran reading and this the quran tutor should tell in his quran teaching when quran for kids lessons are going on. After intercourse or menstrual bleeding one should not touch the holy Quran or do quran recitation and also not do quran memorization until after bathing non-Muslim should not handle the sacred text, but may listen to Quran online or read quran translation or exegesis. With all these things in mind when one is not reading or reciting holy Quran it should be closed and stored in nice and clean place, it should never be placed on floor or in a bathroom and Muslim should focus on reading quran the tajweed quran and its rules with a proper institute.

Ruling on wearing shirts with writing on them when praying

Is it permissable for us to wear shirts which have text on back of it while praying with the imam.

Praise be to Allaah.

The ruling on wearing clothing on which there are kinds of
images, writing and patterns is subject to further discussion.

Firstly:

If these images are of haraam things, such as pictures of
women, crosses, symbols of nations that are hostile towards Muslims, or they
are drawings of animate beings, or images of haraam things such as alcohol
and cigarettes and the like, then it is haraam to wear them in the first
place, and the prohibition on praying in them is even more emphatic. Because
these images are haraam in and of themselves, it is not permissible to wear
garments with them, according to the more correct of the scholarly
opinions.

See the answers to questions no.
10439 and
143709

Secondly:

If these garments do not have any images, but they have some
words and phrases that call to sin, such as the words “Kiss me” or “Follow
me”, and so on, or similar words that are used by those who promote
immorality, or words that promote corrupt beliefs, then it is also haraam to
wear them outside of prayer, so wearing it when praying is even more
forbidden. The reason for the prohibition is obvious, because it involves
indecent words and is a visible evil; it is also a call to evildoing or
kufr, and Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“O you who believe! Follow not the footsteps of Shaitân
(Satan). And whosoever follows the footsteps of Shaitân (Satan), then,
verily he commands Al-Fahshâ' [i.e. to commit indecency (illegal sexual
intercourse)], and Al-Munkar [disbelief and polytheism (i.e. to do evil and
wicked deeds; and to speak or to do what is forbidden in Islâm)]”

[al-Noor 24:21].

Thirdly:

If the garments in which one is praying are free of images or
haraam words, but they have decorations or shapes or other words, the ruling
on them depends:

1.

If they are things that catch the eye and one thinks it most
likely that they will distract the worshippers who see them and make them
think too much about them, then it is makrooh to pray in these garments,
because it is proven that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon
him) forbade anything that will distract one when praying, as it says in the
hadeeth of ‘Aa’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her):

The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prayed
in a garment that had markings, and he glanced at its markings. When he
finished praying, he said: “Take this garment of mine to Abu Jahm, and bring
me the plain garment of Abu Jahm, because it distracted me just now when I
was praying.”

The hadeeth was narrated by al-Bukhaari in his Saheeh
(373), where he included it under a chapter heading: If a person prays in a
garment that has markings and looks at its markings. And it was narrated by
Muslim in his Saheeh (556), where Imam al-Nawawi gave it the title:
Chapter: It is makrooh to pray in a garment with markings.

Al-‘Allaamah Ibn Daqeeq al-‘Eed (may Allah have mercy on him)
said:

From this report the fuqaha’ deduced that anything that may
distract one from praying of colours, decorations and artifacts is makrooh.
The ruling is general in application because the reason for it is general,
and the reason is distraction during prayer.

End quote from Ihkaam al-Ahkaam, p. 219

Al-Qurtubi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

In this hadeeth we see that there are some reservations about
everything that could distract one in prayer by looking at it.

End quote from al-Mufhim lima
Ashkala min Talkhees Muslim,
2/163

Ibn Qudaamah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

Everything that may distract the worshipper from his prayer
is makrooh… If the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) –
despite the infallibility and focus in worship that Allah bestowed upon him
– was distracted by that, then it is more likely in the case of other
people.

End quote from al-Mughni, 2/72

Al-Bahooti al-Hanbali (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

It is makrooh to face that which will distract him because it
will keep him from praying properly.

End quote from Kashshaaf al-Qinaa‘, 1/307

See also the answer to question no.
90097

2.

But if those decorations and words – so long as they are not
haraam – are insignificant and the worshippers will not pay attention to
them, or if there are things that people usually have on their clothes in
such a way that they will not distract the one who looks at them, then it is
not makrooh to pray in them because the reason for it being makrooh is not
present in this case.

Harb said:

I asked Ishaaq about praying on a cloth – What do you think
about praying on a cloth with green markings and stripes?

He said: It is permissible.

End quote from Fath al-Baari by Ibn Rajab, 2/206

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

If we assume that the imam will not be distracted by that
because he is blind or because this is something that he has seen many
times, to the extent that he does not care about it or pay any attention to
it, then we think that there is nothing wrong with him praying on it.

End quote from Majmoo‘ Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen,
12/362

To sum up: if the shirt asked about includes writing that is
not haraam but it attracts attention and distracts the worshippers who look
at it, then it is makrooh to pray in it in that case, otherwise it is not
makrooh.

But if the writing carries haraam meanings, it is not
permissible to wear it at all, whether outside the prayer or when praying.

And Allah knows best.

Ruling on wearing abayahs in which there are threads of gold

What is the ruling on the yellow strings on men’s outer garments? Some think that these strings are mixed with gold.

Praise be to Allaah.

People with experience were previously asked about what is on
the edges of abayahs of threads and adornments which those who see them may
imagine to be gold, and they said that there is no gold at all in them.
Based on that, wearing an abayah which has this adornment on its edges is
permissible. Assuming that there is any gold in it, it is little, so it is
also permissible, , but if it is certain that there is a lot of gold in it,
then it is haraam to wear it.

And Allaah is the Source of strength. May Allaah send
blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.

Can a person who kills another accidentally inherit from the deceased?

A man killed his brother by accident; can he inherit from him or not?.

Praise be to Allaah.

The one who kills another deliberately cannot inherit from
the deceased. This is a point on which there is scholarly consensus, because
of the hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said:
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
said: “The killer does not inherit.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2109); classed
as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi (1713). Al-Tirmidhi
said: This hadeeth is what the scholars follow: the killer does not inherit,
whether the killing was deliberate or accidental. Some of them said: If the
killing was accidental, then he may inherit; this is the view of Maalik. End
quote.

As for the one who kills by accident, there is a difference
of scholarly opinion. Some of the scholars thought it most likely that he
may inherit from the deceased, but he may not inherit any of the diyah
(blood money) – in a case where he paid blood money – rather he may inherit
from the rest of his estate.

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
The most correct view with regard to the issue of killing is that if the
heir deliberately and indubitably killed the one from whom he would inherit,
then he does not inherit. If it was an accident then he may inherit, but can
he inherit any of the diyah which he will pay? He does not inherit any of
it, because the diyah is a penalty that he must pay, and it says in a hadeeth narrated by Ibn Majaah: “He may inherit from his original wealth” meaning what he owned before; so he may inherit from his wealth, not from the diyah. End quote from al-Sharh al-Mumti’ (11/321).

Quran word of God? - Purpose of Scripture Writing:

Is Quran the Word of God? Part 10

Purpose of Scripture Writing

Last week we saw that, no one knows who the author of Quran
was and that the copies of Quran were burnt while only one copy was kept.
Without a prophet how could any one ever know which copy is legitimate
or authorized and which one is not? Today we will look at the purpose
of scripture writing.

Purpose of Scripture Writing:

We read in the Bible that when God created this world, He
looked and saw that this world was beautiful and wonderful. He was happy
with His creation. Proverbs 8:30-31 tells us that
God was delighted to have fellowship with the sons of men or human being
as we read in, "Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman; And
I was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him, Rejoicing in His
inhabited world, And my delight was with the sons of men."

Genesis 3rd chapter also tells us that God used to meet
them in the garden at the cool of the day. God created human being for
having fellowship with Him but He never intended to have this sinful and
ugly creation as we have today. Everything went well until the day Adam
and Eve sinned against God and fell short of the glory of God. When they
sinned against God, they could not stand in the presence of Holy God.
They were sent out of the garden of Eden and they were separated from
God. But God who created human being for fellowship, had the same longing
to bring the human beings back to the first position from where they fell.

So God gave the Law to Moses and that Law contained sacred
rules how a person could get forgiveness of their sin, how they could
meet God and how they could have fellowship with God and live in His presence
forever. The whole Bible's centralized theme is how to redeem the fallen
human, how to make them meet God and how to give them eternal life. Jesus
came for the very purpose and He gave His precious life for us on the
cruel cross. He shed His blood for sinful human being so that we could
come out of our sins and live a holy life and have fellowship with living
God.

Bible says in 2 Tim 3:16-17, "All
Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the
man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

But if you read the Quran and Hadith you can understand
that there is no forgiveness of sin, salvation of soul, fellowship with
God or eternal life ever offered in Quran or in Hadith. Quran says in
Surah 23:102-104. "Then those whose balance
(of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: But those whose
balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will
they abide. The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin,
with their lips displaced.
"

Also in Surah 7:8-9 The weighing on
that day is the true (weighing). As for those whose scale is heavy, they
are the successful. Those whose scale will be light, will be their souls
in perdition, for that they wrongfully treated Our signs."

In other words there is no way to know whether he or she
is going to hell or heaven or whether he or she will get salvation or
not until their last breath. In Islam salvation is based on good deeds
unlike Bible where God has already paid the price in full for the salvation
of our souls. Quran has kept its believers in dark but the Bible says
that we can receive salvation or forgiveness of our sins in this world
itself by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Bible says that there
is no other name given for our salvation except Jesus as we read in
Acts 4:10-12, "let it be known to you all, and to all the people
of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified,
whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you
whole. This is the 'stone which was rejected by you builders, which has
become the chief cornerstone.' Nor is there salvation in any other, for
there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be
saved."

Quran does not care about the problem of sin or sinful human
being. There is no solution in Quran to deal with our sins. Quran is silent
about forgiveness of sin. Our good deeds cannot save us. For example suppose
a person kills someone and after killing, he goes to some other place
where no one knows him. He starts a fresh life, gives much money to charities,
helps poor and needy, does good humanitarian works. Will that erase his
past sin? The fact is, no, his guilt of murder will follow him all the
days of his life until he gets forgiveness of his sin. If his sins are
not forgiven in this world then surely he is going to hell fire because
he is a sinner who killed another person and his good works cannot save
him. But unfortunately Quran does not have a solution for such person.

Muhammad the founder of Islam also lived in fear until his
death, not knowing whether he will get into heaven or not. The same fear
creeps in the minds of Muslims. They live in fear without having hope
of a blessed future for them. In Hadith Volume 1,
Book 12, Number 770, Muhammad was asked whether they could see Allah on
the day of Judgment or not? Muhammad replied that on that day, Allah will
call them, and As-Sirat (a bridge) will be laid across Hell and I (Muhammad)
shall be the first amongst the Apostles to cross it with my followers.
Nobody except the Apostles will then be able to speak and they will be
saying then, 'O Allah! Save us. O Allah Save us.'

Then further he says that the Muslims will come out of the
fire, though the fire would eat away their whole human body yet marks
of prostrations will remain intact. At that time they will come out of
the Fire as mere skeletons. The Water of Life will be poured on them and
as a result they will grow like the seeds growing on the bank of flowing
water.

Can you imagine what Allah had promised for Muslims? Hell
fire, burnt flesh and body! But today I have a good news to tell you that
when you are in this world itself, you can receive eternal life. You can
get water of life that is freely given by Jesus.

Jesus said to the Samaritan woman in John
4:10, "Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift
of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have
asked Him, and He would have given you living water.""

And in John 4:14 "but whoever drinks of the
water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall
give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting
life."

Dear friend, come to Jesus and have this eternal life so
that you may never go to hell fire but have eternal life.

Quran-IslamTrue Islam Is it "on the earth" or "in the earth" - 6:38 - 9:2 - 10:99

Is it "on the earth" or "in the earth" - 6:38 - 9:2 - 10:99

Looking at the Arabic words of the Quran (not the translations), we note that all the Quranic verses which speak of living creatures (including human beings) say that they live “in the earth” rather than “on the earth”.

Before looking at some of these verses, it must be mentioned that most translators translated the Arabic words into “on earth” rather than “in the earth” as they were oblivious of the fact that “in the earth” is scientifically more accurate. These translators were also trying to conform to how the phrase would be phrased in English rather than conform to what the scientific knowledge would dictate.

“All the creatures in the earth, and all the birds that fly with wings, are communities like you.” 6:38

“So roam freely in the land for four months ….” 9:2

“Had your Lord willed, all the people in the earth would have believed” 10:99

Normally, we think that all life exists on earth “life on earth”, however this is not correct from a scientific point of view.

As we know, the earth’s atmosphere is a part of the earth. The fact that it is a gas layer does not mean it is not a part of the earth, for matter exists in three forms (solid, liquid and gas). And since we live at the very lowest level of the atmosphere (inside the atmosphere), then we live "in the earth" and not on the earth.

The atmosphere is divided into five layers. It is thickest near the surface and thins out with height until it eventually merges with space.

1- The troposphere: is the first layer above the surface and extends about 10 kilometres above the earth’s surface. This layer contains around 80% of the Earth's atmosphere (in mass). Weather occurs in this layer, and all living creatures live inside the troposphere.

2- The stratosphere: is the second layer extending 50K above the surface, it is where jet planes fly and also where the ozone layer is found.

3- The mesosphere: is the third layer extending 85K above the surface and it is where meteors and rock fragments burn up

4- The thermosphere: is the fourth layer and it extends up to 800K and is the layer where we see the auroras. It is also where the space shuttle orbits.

5- The exosphere: is the fifth layer, it is above 1000k and is where the atmosphere merges into space and is extremely thin. This is the upper limit of our atmosphere.

----------------------------------------------------------------

10- Men cannot keep their wives against their will - 2:231

“Do not force them to stay against their will, as a revenge.” 2:231

In many countries that still implement a version of Islam which is based on medieval male dominated cultures, we find that the man is given a number of privileges which are not God given. In marriage, it is customary that men are given what is referred to as the “esma”. This means that they alone have the right to divorce their wives. They can divorce their wives instantly and without seeking a court order. However if a wife seeks a divorce she must obtain a court order. But this is very difficult in these countries since their courts are also guided by many male dominated rules that make it virtually impossible for a woman to obtain divorce unless she can prove that her husband is a criminal, a mad man or better still, an alien!

Where did men acquire these non Quranic rights? The obvious answer is not surprisingly from the hadith which was written over 200 years after the death of the prophet and also against his will.

Please see : History of hadith

Many Muslim scholars and Imams claim that the hadith explains the Quran! However in this case, as in hundreds of other cases, it can be shown that the hadith clearly violates a clear Quranic law (2:231). These contradictions go to show that the bulk of these hadith could not have been the true words of the prophet.

Please see : Why the prophet is innocent of the hadith

According to 2:231 a man is prohibited from keeping his wife against her wishes, and must consent to her wishes to end a marriage. Normally he has every right to try to save the marriage and also seek a council from the two families (4:35) but if all attempts fail, he cannot keep his wife against her wishes.

This is the law of God and any person or authority not ruling by God’s law are defined in the Quran as disbelievers:

“Then we revealed to you this scripture (Quran), truthfully, confirming previous scriptures, and superseding them. You shall rule among them in accordance with God's revelations” 5:48

“Those who do not rule in accordance with God's revelations are the disbelievers.” 5:44

------------------------------------
