Hadith About Recitation of Quran

Hadith About Recitation of Quran.

Abu Umaamah said he heard Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) say: “Read the Qur'an, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who read It! Read the two bright ones, “al-Baqarah” (2nd Chapter of the Qur’aan) and “Al 'Emraan,” (3rd Chapter of the Qur’aan), for on the Day of Resurrection they (al-Baqarah and Al 'Emraan) will come as “two clouds” or “two shades,” or “two flocks of birds” in ranks, pleading for the ones who read them. Read Surah “al-Baqarah” (2nd Chapter of the Qur’aan), for to take an alternative to it is a blessing and to give it up is a cause of grief, and the magicians cannot confront it [with their spells].”

5 Ways to be fluent in holy quran recitation

5 Ways to be fluent in holy quran recitation

In this article you’re about to learn the quickest, most effective ways to increase your fluency in reading Quran in Arabic. By following these methods, over time you’ll go from stuttering and stammering over simple words to reciting any page of the Quran as easily as you can recite Surah al-Fatiha.

But first, let me tell you about the time I realized I seriously needed to improve my recitation fluency. I was at an Islamic event with quite a well-known scholar…

WHEN I REALIZED MY RECITATION NEEDED WORK
Back in my university days I was often involved in organizing events and activities for Muslim students. In fact, before long people saw me as the ‘I-Soc guy’ because of my activities in university Islamic Societies.

I was busy organizing the event with the big scholar, running around and looking important, when it came to my attention that the hafiz we had asked to do the recitation for the beginning of the event had gone AWOL.

(Can you see where this is going…?)

My mind immediately ran down a mental list of people on our team who might be able to step in. As I looked around the room, none of them were there. I started looking around the room frantically now, for anyone who could step in – even people who had nothing to do with the I-Soc. I even asked a couple of random people, but they were like “No, my recitation sucks – why don’t you do it?”

They were about to find out why I didn’t want to do it! When I completely ran out of options, I stepped up. First I thought of reciting something I knew off by heart, but I had only memorized a few of the really short Surahs at the end of the Quran, and reciting them almost seemed like it would be cheating.

Fortunately, I had been working on Surah Yasin, and listened to it a few times recently, so I thought I’d give it a go…. believe me when I say, I had never been so relieved to STOP reciting the Quran. I’m usually a cool customer on stage, but this time I was practically sweating. I was stuttering and stammering all over the place. I almost tripped up on the letters ‘ya-seen’.

When it was over, the scholar leaned over and said “you know, you really should read Quran online more”. How embarrassing is that?!

By that time he was preaching to the converted. My mission was clear: I had to sort my recitation out and after much trial and error, here’s how to do it.

5 WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR FLUENCY

1. Ancient Thai Saying

The ancient Thai people, now famous for their Muay Thai Kick Boxing style had a saying. “If you want to be a good kicker… kick!” The same holds true of your goal of improving you holy Quran recitation. Follow the first advice ever given to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
by his Educator… “Recite!”.

Recite as much as you can, as frequently as you can. Nothing can replace this discipline. The more you do it, the better you get at it. Before you know it, you’ll be reading an unfamiliar page in the same amount of time it used to take you to read a couple of lines.

2. Link New Habit With Old Habit

This is without doubt the single most effective way to build a new habit. You need to link the habit of reciting the Quran in Arabic with something you already do every single day without fail. Something like brushing your teeth, or putting your clothes on in the morning.

Or how about, linking it with one (or more) of your 5 daily prayers? That way, you’re already in a state of wudu, so one of the main psychological barriers is out of the way.

If you’re going to do this, I’d advise that you do it with a prayer you have been doing consistently over the last few weeks. I’d also recommend you don’t do it if you think you’ll be stressed.

For example, if you’re at work, and are taking three 10 minute breaks for prayer during the day, turning them into three 15 minute breaks might not make your boss too happy.

Now make the commitment to recite a small amount of Quran every single day for the next 30 days after the selected prayer.

3. Intelligent Repetition – The Mother Of All Skill.

Here is a trick that will double or triple your effectiveness and speed at reading the Quran. Let’s say you’ve decided to recite two pages of the Quran after Isha every night and 2 pages before you leave for work in the morning.

Instead of reciting the first 2 pages on day one morning and the next 2 pages on day one night, try this out. On day one morning, recite page 1, then recite page one again. Then on day one evening, recite page 1 again, and again.

“But then I’ll only have done one page?!” I hear you exclaiming. That’s true, but you’ll have done that page four times, and what’s more important, is that by the 4th recitation, you will read it about 3 or 4 times quicker that on your first attempt. Aim for reading the page 5 times each day.

The next day, you can move on to page 2, and so on. At the end of the week, you might like to do one marathon session of going through all 7 pages you covered that week.

You may even want to do this with a tajweed teacher, who’ll correct your recitation. You’ll notice that you can still recite page 1 about 2 or 3 times faster and more fluently than on your 1st attempt.

600 days later you will have completed the Quran 6 times. “Eat your heart out, Maulvi Saab!”

If you recite the page 5 times each day, and once at the end of the week, it’s the equivalent of completing the Quran once every 100 days – just over 3 months. That’s like reading 4 Qurans a year – but who’s keeping count ;)

4. Learn Some Vocabulary

In previous emails, I shared with you the quickest, easiest, most effective way to understand the entire Quran in Arabic.
If you want to get hold of the audio download where I explain how to do it, visit www.learningquranonline.com

The key to the whole process of understanding the Quran is to learn Quranic vocabulary lists. If you learn around 300 words, that accounts for about 70% of the entire Quran. But you need to learn the right words.

This links in with your recitation because when you know these commonly occuring words, you’ll spot them as you recite, and something magical will happen….

Just as you do in english, you will unconsciously read the first and lsat lteters in the wrod adn wrok out waht the wrod syas, without having to read each letter phonetically (cool eh?). In other words, just by being able to recognize the common words, your recitation speed will increase exponentially.

HOWEVER, this does not replace numbers 1,2 & 3.
DO NOT wait until you know all of Quranic Arabic, before you start reciting the Quran. This is a common mistake and it is a waste of time. You can know all 300 words, but if you never recite the Quran, you will still be a slow reciter.

If you do manage to learn 5-10 words a day for 1 month, whilst still doing your daily recitations, you’ll know 70% of Quranic vocabulary in a month or two. This will give you a huge boost in motivation, and momentum.

5. Get Your iPod Out..

If you are still struggling, the iPod technique will propel you forward. Get an online recitation from a famous reciter, whose voice you love. Listen to the recitation, one page at a time, as you read along the script with your finger.

Even if the reciter goes way too fast for you to start with, just finger along the page. Then, rewind back to where the page started, and do it again, and again. Because the reciter goes much faster than you, you can go over the same page several times in one sitting. Eventually, you will be able to follow with your eyes, and then your lips and tongue.

So, here’s a quick review of the 5 ways to improve your recitation:

1. Practise Quran like a Martial Artist Practices Kicks.
2. Read 1 page of the Quran immediately after a prayer.
3. Repeat the same page several times before moving on.
4. Learn 5 words of Quran vocab per day for 2 months.
5. Get your iPod out and read along with a reciter.

Love, Learn, & Live the Quran this Ramadan

Love, Learn, & Live the Quran this Ramadan

I have an unusual question to ask you: What can you learn from a dog? I am not referring to the ones you find in kids stories or cartoons. The dog I’m going to tell you about was mentioned within the context of keeping good company and the favourable effect that has on a person either through influence on their character or externally on their situation. One finds in a hadith about the difference between the carrier of musk and the ironsmith where we are taught about Allah’s Mercy and Forgiveness for those who sat with a group remembering Allah even though they were just passing by.

Do you think you can figure out who this dog is?

If your still puzzled about why I’m writing about a dog(!) keep reading and you’ll soon find out.

Allah (Subahanahu Wa Ta’la) says: “And you would have deemed them awake whereas they were asleep and We turned them over on the right side and on the left side, while their dog stretched forth his two forelegs on the threshold. If you had seen them, you would have surely turned away from them in fright, and would have surely been filled with awe of them}” [18:18]

In this verse, the dog just happened to follow that group of young believers in their attempt to escape from the non-believing people and protect their faith. Allah had decreed that they, with their dog, become an example of Allah’s ability to resurrect the dead and so they went into the cave and the rest is history. And thus a dog gained a mention among a righteous group of people in the Quran till the Day of Judgement.

SubhanAllah, how many times have I read Surah Al-Khaf and I came to learn about this example just two weeks ago in a course. How many lessons of guidance are we missing by not learning, living or loving the Quran as Muslims should?

Many a times we know the virtues and hear about the reward of contemplating the Quran but we still hold back because of one obstacle or another, some may say:

“But I don’t know Arabic!”

Indeed Allah, the Most High, chose Arabic to be the language of the Qur’an – Allah has told us: “We have sent it down, an Arabic Quran, in order that you understand” [12:2] and “A Book, the verses of which are distinguished, an Arabic Quran for a nation who know” [41:3]

Did you notice how the revelation of the Quran in Arabic is mentioned alongside understanding and knowledge?

The lesson we can learn here is that Arabic is not a barrier, it’s a tool to a clear and concise understanding of the Book of Allah. Once we consciously accept that, inshaAllah we would have made a brilliant start.

Learning any language takes time and effort, learning Arabic with the intention of reciting the Quran is a way that allows you to engage with the verses and ponder upon the meaning on a higher level.

This ramadan will pass by quickly, yet how about having a long and short term plan? The long term plan is to learn Arabic in an effective and consistent way. The short term plan should include reading the Quran in a language you understand.

1. Use a good quality translation of the meaning of the Quran. Modern time English Quran translations include: The Qur’an (Oxford World’s Classics) by M.A.S. Abdel Haleem and The Noble Qur’an: A New Rendering of Its Meaning in English by Aisha Abdurrahman Bewley and Abdalhaqq Bewley.

2. Concentrate with your heart and mind on the Words of Allah, as He emphasised: “We have made the Quran easy to remember, is there any that will remember?” [54: 17]

Though we all know the Quran is the Holy Book, our attitude towards the Quran reflects how a ritualistic and cultural approach in understanding the Quran has made us defy the purpose of the Book in our lives today. It appears that by placing the Quran on the highest shelves and in the most elaborate of covers we manage to make it unreachable, physically and mentally. It almost needs a ceremony to be brought ‘down to our humble level’ and off the dusty shelves when we are seeking Allah’s Help, or even sadly kept for when someone is ill or dying.

Ask yourself though – are not the living more deserving of the guidance of the holy Quran? In Surah Yaseen Allah tells us: “We have not instructed Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Poetry, nor is it meant for him. This is no less than a Message and a Quran making things clear, that We may give admonition to any (who are) alive, and that the charge may be proved against those who reject (the Truth)” [36:69-70]

Allah, the Most High tells us in the Quran: “Say (O Muhammad) ‘Jibreel has brought it (the Quran reciter) down from your Lord with truth, that it may make firm and strengthen (the faith of) those who believe and as a guidance and glad tidings to those who have submitted (to Allah as Muslims)”. [16:102]

 3. Another tip to live with the Quran is to ensure you have your own copy of the Quran and keep it close. Is it next to your bed or on your desk? Recite regularly even if it is small portions and increase with time.

4. Schedule it in your diary or use our Ultimate Ramadan Taskinator!

5. Take your time and ponder upon the meanings, you might find it useful to keep a notebook to jot down your thoughts and the verses you find enlightening so that you have something to refer back to or learn about more deeply later. Include the verses that you find confusing so you can look them up in a tafseer or ask a knowledgeable person citing the Surah and Verse(s).

With a better understanding of the Quran online we hope to emulate our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) in his character. Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) was asked about the character of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to which she replied: “His character was the Quran” [Bukhari]

Recite the Quran and you find Allah telling you about the qualities of the people of Jannah and the people of the Hellfire. We are told about the people before us and what brought them the wrath of Allah or that when they stood firm upon His path they were blessed with His mercy.

By the Grace of Allah, much has been written and said about reciting, learning and benefiting from the Quran. We just need to go out there and live by it! Make the intention and set your plans for this Ramadan and the rest of your life to become a carrier of the Quran. May Allah make you a carrier of musk, and remember Allah will ease your path to Him and Jannah for:

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that Allah says of Himself: “I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assembly better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm’s length, I draw near to him a fathom’s length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.” [Bukhari]

Daily Hadith:Prophetic (PBUH) Commentary on the Qur'an - 20th Rabi al-Awwal 1432 (23rd February 2011)

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

Prophetic (PBUH) Commentary on the Qur'an - 20th Rabi al-Awwal 1432 (23rd
February 2011)

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

One day while Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) was sitting
with the people, a man came to him walking and said, "O Allah's Apostle.
What is Belief?" The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Belief
is to believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Apostles, and the
meeting with Him, and to believe in the Resurrection." The man asked, "O
Allah's Apostle What is Islam?" The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam)
replied, "Islam is to worship Allah and not worship anything besides Him,
to offer prayers perfectly, to pay the (compulsory) charity i.e. Zakat and
to fast the month of Ramadan." The man again asked, "O Allah's Apostle What
is Ihsan (i.e. perfection or Benevolence)?" The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi
Wa Sallam) said, "Ihsan is to worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you
do not achieve this state of devotion, then (take it for granted that)
Allah sees you."

The man further asked, "O Allah's Apostle When will the Hour be
established?"  The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) replied, "The one
who is asked about it does not know more than the questioner does, but I
will describe to you its portents. When the lady slave gives birth to her
mistress, that will be of its portents; when the bare-footed naked people
become the chiefs of the people, that will be of its portents. The Hour is
one of five things which nobody knows except Allah. Verily, the knowledge
of the Hour is with Allah (alone). He sends down the rain, and knows that
which is in the wombs." (31.34) Then the man left. The Prophet (Sallallahu
'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Call him back to me." They went to call him back
but could not see him. The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said,
"That was Gabriel who came to teach the people their religion."

Why Do We Read Quran

Why Do We Read Quran, Even if We Can't Understand A Single Arabic Word????

This is A Beautiful Story.
An Old Man Lived On A Farm in The Mountains Of Eastern Turkey With His Young Grandson.

Each Morning Grandpa Was Up Early Sitting At The Kitchen Table Reading His Qur'an.

His Grandson Wanted To Be just Like Him And Tried To imitate Him in Every Way He Could.
One Day The Grandson Asked,

'Grandpa! I Try To Read The Qur'an Just Like You But I Don't Understand it, And What I Do Understand I Forget As Soon As I Close The Book. What Good Does Reading The Qur'an Do?'

The Grandfather Quietly Turned From Putting Coal in The Stove And Replied,

' Take This Coal Basket Down To The River And Bring Me Back A Basket Of Water.'

The Boy Did As He Was Told, But All The Water Leaked Out Before He Got Back To The House.

The Grandfather Laughed And Said,

'You'll Have To Move A Little Faster Next Time,'

And Sent Him Back To The River With The Basket To Try Again.

This Time The Boy Ran Faster,

But Again The Basket Was Empty Before He Returned Home.

Out Of Breath, He Told His Grandfather That it Was impossible To Carry Water in A Basket,

And He Went To Get A Bucket instead.

The Old Man Said,

'I Don't Want A Bucket 0f Water; I Want A Basket Of Water. You're Just Not Trying Hard Enough,'

And He Went Out The Door To Watch The Boy Try Again.

At This Point, The Boy Knew it Was impossible,

But He Wanted To Show His Grandfather That Even if He Ran As Fast As He Could,

The Water Would Leak Out Before He Got Back To The House.

The Boy Again Dipped The Basket into River And Ran Hard,

But When He Reached His Grandfather The Basket Was Again Empty.
Out Of Breath, He Said,

'See Grandpa, it's Useless!'

Grandpa Cleared His Throat And

Asked 'So You Think it is Useless?'

The Old Man Said,

'Look At The Basket.'

The Boy Looked At The Basket And For The First Time Realized That The Basket Was Different.

It Had Been Transformed From A Dirty Old Coal Basket And Was Now Clean,

inside And Out.

'Son, That's What Happens When You Read The Qur'an.

You Might Not Understand Or Remember Everything,

But When You Read it,

You Will Be Changed,

inside And Out.

That is The Work Of Allah in Our Lives.'

Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) Says:

'The 0ne Who Guides Others To Do Goo

Will Be Rewarded Equally'

The writer of The Holy Quran online

Who is The writer of The Holy Quran online?

There are many people propagate that the Holy Quran online is not the word of God (Allah Ta’ala). Let’s see what are the other options:

  • One possibility is that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) wrote it.
  • another possibility is that the Arabs came up with the idea of Holy Quran
  • The third and last possibility is that God Himself.

The first possibility is turned down by the fact that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was illiterate. Everyone in Arab knew that Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) could not read and write so he himself was unable to produce something like the holy Quran.

The Arabs themselves could not produce the holy Quran because the theme and spirit of Holy Quran is altogether different from the norms of Arabs and also the Quran is something which is beyond the imagination of human beings.

There was a festival in Arab where famous poets used to hang their writings in Kaba (The House of Allah Ta’ala) and they used to comment on each other’s writing.  Hazrat Ali (R.A) presented “Surah Kausar” of the Holy Quran there and the comment that Surah Kausar received was “it’s not a human writing”.

Indeed Allah (SWT) the Almighty God is the creator of the Holy Quran, He Says in this Holy Book: “Had We sent down this Qur´an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect”. It was the heart of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) that accepted it.

May Allah Not Make Us Trail For The Disbelievers

The Holy Quran online is the way of life and it is indeed a complete code of life. Allah (SWT) has created men and Jinns to worship Him. Allah Says in the Holy Quran: “I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve me”. We all need to understand the meaning of our lives and for that we must learn Quran. (A Quran tutor is a best option to learn Tajweed properly).

Quran learning and teaching would break down the confusions in Muslim Ummah and it would be easier for people to understand the spirit of Islam that is why it is recommended to have a Quran tutor. listen uran reciter  ,  learn Quran online   , read Quran online,   quran online

There is a famous verse of the Holy Quran: “Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the disbelievers”. People get confused in these kinds of verses and in the absence of Quran tutor they tend to come up with their own meanings.

The big question here related to this verse is that how can a Muslim be a trial for those who disbelieve? The answer is that he can pretty much be a trail for disbelievers if the Kuffars (non Muslims) gain power.

If the kuffars gain power, there is every chance that they will make efforts to misguide Muslims.  A Quranic verse beautifully explains the subject matter: “Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance (to Allaah), then they will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire”.

The radio was giving live Quran transmission and these beautiful verses were recited by one of the best Qaran reciters (Qaari is the one who recites the Holy Quran online) : “We relate to thee their story in truth: they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We advanced them in guidance, We gave strength to their hearts: Behold, they stood up and said: “Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and of the earth: never shall we call upon any god other than Him: if we did, we should indeed have uttered an enormity!”.

Indeed Allah (SWT) was the one who connected the hearts of Ashab-e- Kahf. We need to show this kind of unity and strength against the evil forces. It is reported that around 15000 protesters marched on the Capitol in Madison, Wisconsin. Their demand was to vote against the bill proposed legislation termed radical by all the political parties.

The Muslim Americans stated that their emotions were hurt by the bill and they wanted the state legislators to vote against the bill. One of the Pakistani American Rashid Dar presented the Muslim community and gave a speech as well. listen uran reciter  ,  learn Quran online   , read Quran online,   quran online

He said that Islam allows protests within the limits of ethics and we won’t do anything silly which would create bad word of mouth for the Muslims and Islam.  He further more said that Islam itself brought the social change and Islam believes in the philosophy of justice and truth.

[8]. Surah Al-Anfal [The Spoils of War]

Ayat 43. (And remember) when Allah showed them to you as few in your (i.e. Muhammad's  [SAWW](PBUH) dream, if He had shown them to you as many, you would surely have been discouraged, and you would surely have disputed in making a decision. But Allah saved (you). Certainly, He is the All-Knower of what is in the breasts.

Hadith الحديث

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Allah, the Exalted, has said: `I will declare war against him who treats with hostility a pious worshipper of Mine. And the most beloved thing with which My slave comes nearer to Me, is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (voluntary prayers or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) until I love him, (so much so that) I become his hearing with which he hears, and his sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he strikes, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me something, I will surely give him, and if he seeks My Protection (refuge), I will surely protect him". [Al-Bukhari Hadith # 6502]

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Anfal Ayat 43 "(And remember) when Allah showed them to you as few in your dream,) This Hadith tell us the status and distinctive signs of the favoured men of Allah ('Auliya' Allah) The Noble holy Quran online has defined them as: "Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah) and used to fear Allah much (by abstaining from evil deeds and sins and by doing righteous deeds)". (10:63). According to this definition, every believer who really fears Allah is a favoured of Allah. It means that except for Faith and piety, favoured of Allah are neither people of the special kind nor have they any special distinctive signs, as is generally thought by some people. In this respect, the ignorance of the general public is shocking because they regard even such persons as favoured of Allah who not only neglect the religious obligations and the practice of the Prophet [SAWW](PBUH), but also woefully lack cleanliness. Sometimes they call even mad or half-mad persons as favourites of Allah, whereas a Wali in the true sense is one who is meticulous about observing the obligations and is fearful of Allah. Firstly, the love of those whom Allah loves entail the love of Allah, and hating them entails the hatred of Allah.Secondly, when a true Muslim acquires nearness and love of Allah by means of performing religious obligations, supererogatory and voluntary prayers, Allah then becomes his special helper and protects his limbs and organs and does not let them work for His disobedience.
